The PE/PP Recycling Washing Line is specially designed to process post-consumer or industrial plastic films, bags, woven sacks, and rigid containers made of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Through a series of crushing, washing, separation, and drying procedures, the system efficiently converts contaminated plastic waste into clean, dry flakes ready for pelletizing or direct reuse.

Process

Film Conveying
Transfers plastic film evenly into the crushing system for continuous feeding.

Crushing
Cuts the waste film into small flakes while removing dust and impurities.

High Speed Friction Washing
Cleans the flakes with high-speed friction to remove surface dirt, oil, and glue.

Floating Washing
Separates light contaminants such as paper and labels from heavier PE/PP flakes.

High Speed Friction Washing
Deep cleans the flakes to ensure high purity and prepare for dewatering.

Wringing & Dewatering
Removes most of the surface water using a squeezing or centrifugal system.

Drying
Further reduces the moisture content of the flakes to below 1% for stable storage or pelletizing.

Silo (Storage Hopper)
Collects and stores the clean, dry flakes for packing or feeding into the pelletizing line.

Machine Details

Crusher

The crusher is used to cut waste PE/PP film, woven bags, or rigid containers into small flakes for efficient washing.
With water-assisted cutting, it reduces dust, cools the blades, and prevents plastic melting.
The machine is equipped with high-strength blades made of SKD11 or D2 material, ensuring long life and uniform flake size, which improves the performance of the subsequent washing process.

Friction Washer

The friction washer removes soil, oil, glue, and other contaminants from plastic flakes through high-speed rotation. The strong centrifugal force and friction between the flakes and water ensure deep cleaning. Made of stainless steel 304, this unit offers high washing efficiency, low water consumption, and easy maintenance — an essential step for producing clean PE/PP flakes.

Washing Tank

The washing tank separates contaminants such as paper, labels, or caps from plastic flakes based on density difference.
PE/PP materials float on the water surface while heavier impurities sink and are discharged automatically.
This step ensures effective separation and improves the purity of the recycled material.

Horizontal Drying Machine

The horizontal dryer removes surface water from the washed flakes using high-speed centrifugal force. It significantly lowers the moisture content before final drying or pelletizing. The machine features stable operation, low vibration, and high drying efficiency, ensuring clean, dry flakes ready for reuse.

Squeezer Machine

The squeezer machine combines mechanical squeezing and heat friction to further dewater and densify the washed film flakes.
